Twelve short, focused articles — one topic each — that walk you through every filter, card and chart in NVXSCAN, and how to combine them into a workflow that fits your style.
When you open the scanner, the page is laid out top-to-bottom as a single, scrollable dashboard. Knowing the four regions makes everything else easy.
Header — the Nivexo Wealth logo and brand, the Data Updated timestamp (when today’s data was built), and the dark/light theme toggle.
Market overview — three tiles (Total Zones, Demand in green, Supply in red), a demand-vs-supply proportion bar, and a per-timeframe health row showing how many symbols sit above vs below their 50-period average.
Filter bar — rows of buttons for Scanner, Zone Type, Pattern, Timeframe, RSI and Sort, plus a search box for symbol or industry.
Card grid — one card per zone. Each card carries the zone’s grade, symbol, price info and a VIEW CHART button.
A good first move is simply to pick a Scanner type — the grid stays empty until you do — and then narrow down from there. The rest of this guide walks through each control in turn.
GUIDE 02
The Scanner Type filter
This is the most important choice on the page, because it decides how much surrounding context each zone is shown with. There are three options:
Simple Zone — a pure fresh-zone scan on a single swing timeframe (Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly). The cleanest, most direct view. Start here if you are new.
Zone with HTF — adds higher-timeframe confluence: a higher timeframe together with intraday (15m / 75m), so a zone is judged against the bigger zones around it.
Zone with HTF & Trend — the richest view, layering a higher → intermediate → lower timeframe pipeline together with curve-location and a trend read.
When to use which: use Simple Zone to learn the raw pattern; step up to Zone with HTF when you want confirmation that a smaller zone lines up with a larger one; use Zone with HTF & Trend when you also want the prevailing trend to agree before you study a setup.

The Zone Type filter — Demand vs Supply
This filter splits the grid by the two kinds of zone:
Demand (green) — areas where buyers previously overwhelmed sellers; read as potential support / long-interest areas.
Supply (red) — areas where sellers previously overwhelmed buyers; read as potential resistance / short-interest areas.
How to use it: match the zone type to the bias you are studying. If you are looking for places where price might find support on the way up, filter to Demand. If you are studying where an advance might stall, filter to Supply. Leaving both on shows the full picture — useful for seeing where demand and supply sit relative to each other.

The Pattern filter — DBR / RBR / RBD / DBD
Every zone is a base with a strong leg on each side, and the legs give the pattern its name:
DBR — Drop-Base-Rally: a demand zone where price dropped in, based, and rallied out.
RBR — Rally-Base-Rally: a demand zone inside an up-move (continuation).
RBD — Rally-Base-Drop: a supply zone where price rallied in, based, and dropped out.
DBD — Drop-Base-Drop: a supply zone inside a down-move (continuation).
How to use it: the pattern hints at whether a zone is a reversal or a continuation. In a clearly rising market, RBR demand zones sit with the trend; in a falling market, DBD supply zones do. DBR and RBD more often mark turning points. Filtering by pattern lets you study just the kind of structure that fits your idea.

The Timeframe filter
Zones are detected on several timeframes. Pick the one that matches how long you intend to study a position for:
Weekly / Daily — the classic swing-trading timeframes, for holds of days to weeks.
75-minute / 15-minute — intraday zones, more frequent and precise but shorter-lived.
How to use it: higher timeframes give fewer but weightier zones; lower timeframes give many, finer zones. A common approach is to establish direction on a higher timeframe and then drill into a lower one for detail — which is exactly what the Zone with HTF scanner types automate.

The RSI filter & its signals
RSI (Relative Strength Index) is a 14-period momentum oscillator. NVXSCAN turns it into a simple, directional signal so you can filter by momentum:
An upward signal ↑ comes from the lower RSI band — momentum turning up from a weak reading.
A downward signal ↓ comes from the upper band (roughly 75–100) — momentum stretched high and easing.
How to use it: use the RSI filter to keep only the zones whose momentum agrees with your idea — for example, demand zones showing an upward RSI signal. On each card, the RSI line shows the signal in green (up), red (down) or muted (none). Note that if a symbol had no usable data for its timeframe, its RSI shows neutral and the RSI filter will hide that card.

The Sort options
Once you have filtered, sorting decides what floats to the top:
Quality Score (high → low) — the strongest, cleanest zones first. The best default.
Proximity — the zones nearest to the current market price (CMP) first, i.e. the ones price could reach soonest.
Zone Age — the freshest (most recently formed) zones first.
How to use it: sort by Quality Score when you want the best setups regardless of distance; by Proximity when you care about what is actionable now; by Zone Age when you specifically want the newest structures.

How to read a zone card
Each card is a compact summary of one zone. From top to bottom you will see:
Grade and quality score — the A+/A/B/C letter and its 0–100 score bar.
Symbol & industry — in a green (demand) or red (supply) tinted box.
CMP — the latest close (current market price).
Timeframe and the zone-type, pattern and scanner-type tags.
Proximal — the edge of the zone nearest to price (shown in a monospaced figure).
RSI signal — up / down / none.
VIEW CHART — opens the full interactive chart in a new tab.
Note: the card shows only the Proximal price. Earlier fields such as Distal, Entry, Stop Loss, Target and R:R were removed from the card, so you will not see them here — the card is intentionally kept clean, and any deeper study happens on the chart.

Quality Grade — A+, A, B, C
The grade is NVXSCAN’s one-glance read of a zone’s overall strength, derived from a 0–100 quality score:
A+ — strongest.
A — strong.
B — moderate.
C — weaker.
How to prioritise: spend your attention top-down. Begin with A+ and A zones (sorting by Quality Score puts them first), and treat B and C as lower-conviction context rather than focal points. The grade is a filter for where to look first — not a promise about what price will do.

How to read the interactive chart
Clicking VIEW CHART opens a full, interactive Plotly chart in a new tab. You can zoom, pan and hover for exact values; nothing is auto-downloaded. On the chart you will find:
Zone boxes — demand zones shaded green, supply zones shaded red, drawn behind the candles.
Candles — the price action itself.
EMA (20) and SMA (50) — the fast and medium trend lines.
RSI (14) — the momentum panel, with its level lines.
Volume — participation under each candle.
Reference lines and an NVXSCAN watermark behind the data.
How to use it: the chart is where you confirm what a card only summarises — is the zone clean and untested, does momentum agree, and does the zone sit sensibly within the trend?
GUIDE 11
Fresh vs tested zones
NVXSCAN only ever shows fresh zones — zones that price has not returned to since they formed. This is a deliberate design choice.
The first time price revisits a zone, a good deal of the leftover demand or supply that created it can be consumed. A zone that has already been tested is therefore considered “spent” and is dropped from the dashboard. The result is a clean board of untested structures, instead of a chart cluttered with old levels that may no longer hold any unfilled interest.
Takeaway: if a zone you were watching disappears, it usually means price came back and tested it — not a bug. Fresh-only keeps the focus on areas that still carry their original, unspent interest.

Build your own workflow
The real power comes from combining the filters into a routine that fits your style. Two illustrative examples:
Positional swing study: Scanner = Simple Zone; Timeframe = Weekly or Monthly; Zone Type = Demand; Sort = Quality Score. This surfaces the strongest, freshest higher-timeframe demand areas to study first.
Intraday context: Scanner = Zone with HTF; Timeframe = 15m or 75m; Sort = Proximity. This shows the nearest intraday zones that also line up with a higher timeframe.
Then open a few charts, keep only the cleanest A+/A zones, and check that RSI and trend agree. Over time you will settle on a short, repeatable set of filters that matches how you think. Remember throughout: NVXSCAN is an educational lens on market structure — it never tells you to buy or sell, and it is not investment advice.

Result Check — the accuracy record
The scanner is deliberately forward-looking: it only ever shows fresh zones, and the moment price tests a zone it disappears (Guide 11). That raises a fair question — how did all those past zones actually turn out? Result Check is the companion dashboard that answers it, and it opens from the Result Check button in the header (next to Open Scanner).
Result Check keeps every zone NVXSCAN has ever found in a permanent, append-only ledger, then “walks” each one forward from the day it formed — using only historical candles — to see how it resolved:
WIN — after entry, price reached the target before the stop-loss.
LOSS — price hit the stop-loss first (a tie inside one candle is booked conservatively as a loss).
OPEN — the zone triggered but has not yet reached the target or the stop; still running.
INVALID — price gapped straight through the stop on the entry attempt, so there was never a valid entry.
Zones that price never entered are simply dropped — only real, triggered outcomes are counted. You can filter the record by scanner type, zone type, pattern and timeframe, and then by Trades (all / win / loss), Entry Type (normal vs gap-into-zone) and an Invalid toggle, and see win rate and holding days broken down per grade (A+/A/B/C). Holding time is always shown in days.
Important: Result Check shows no money, quantity or P&L — only whether zones held and for how long. It is a historical, educational record, not a signal or prediction, and past accuracy never guarantees future results.
